ContextOn: Empower ChatGPT with Your Own Sources of Data
ContextOn is a Chrome plugin developed by maria.malyx that allows you to empower ChatGPT with access to internet sources of data. This plugin solves the limitation of chatbots not having direct access to the web. With ContextOn, you can now provide URLs to the chatbot and it will enrich your prompts with the context from those sources.
Using ContextOn is simple. Just go to the chat bot and start inputting the URLs of the web resources you want to include in your conversation. These resources can be from websites like Reddit, Wikipedia, Stack Overflow, Medium, and more. You can also use Google Docs and Google Sheets URLs, as long as the documents are shared publicly.
ContextOn currently supports ChatGPT, making it a valuable tool for enhancing the capabilities of this chatbot. The length of the text retrieved from the URLs will be truncated to fit within the maximum message length allowed by the chatbot.
